The University of Kent is taking applications for the Kent-Wates PhD Scholarship award in Suicide Prevention in the United Kingdom for the 2021/22 school session.
One of the most demanding complex social problems in health and welfare is student suicide in Higher Academic Institutions. This research project intends to tackle the sensemaking issues in the English Higher Education sectors when various actors aim to align efforts to prevent suicides.

This Kent-Wates PhD Scholarship award is granted to a student with exceptional research potential.
The three-year PhD scholarship program in Management will provide tuition fees at the home rate and an upkeep grant at the same proportion as the UK Research Councils (£15,609 for 2021/22).
